I for one apologise for not being there till after 8pm, as I'm normally one of the guys moaning to get the meetnight started so I can go to work. Also it's me that puts the post up, saying i'll be there for dinner. Which I haven't for some time now. But now thanks to Dalsy sorting some things out with the venue, it gives us the opotunity to start going back for food at some great prices.

I'm sure everyone will agree, meetnight was very possitve once it started. With the club anouncing, that we have the opotunity again this year to run a regonal day with Kames, for the 5th year running and thanks to the support of the member a track night at knockhill for members.

REMEMBER ITS CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as i had to leave before the meet started.......

Looking forward to next months meet night & possibly a meal - Now that the issues have been sorted with the Mailcoach

I can understand folks frustration from the other night -
As a couple of us turned up at 6.30pm last month for a meal - Only to be told meals had Stopped - Had to run 2 chippy at Bothwell - Then we got kicked out at 9pm

Hopefully a Good year ahead for us ALL involved with the club

I think this is a Good post - As It gives all Members who regularly go2 meet nights - A wee something to have a say on

IMO - Thought meetnight was pretty good & Quite busy for time of year

Seriously;
Theres a few have mentioned about the official part of the meeting being later.
OK, this month there was an obvious reason which was unavoidable; but in the past, we have found, that if the official stuff is held early, more than half the folks used to go home, instead of hanging about for a gab and a beer, so meet NIGHT turned into meet FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF.

The Committee and staff work hard to please everyone, but from previous experience, its impossible.

So have a wee think before being so negative. There's a lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes to run this club, which we should applaude, not shoot down for such a minor error. I'm sure it was not intentional.

since finishing Uni i've had all the time in the world to come to meets but as soon as I finished i was offered a job in Oban so i can't make the meet nights now sadly due to being ~140 miles away

Maybe me, paul-h and Ewan-Mac should arrange a mini-meet in Argyll

Personally I thought it was a good meet night and well attended

And thoroughly enjoyed the MK2 entertainment at the end of the night too

Wish I could make more meet nights but unfortunately I struggle to make them due to often working late and often working away.

Need to pay AVA for upgrading the cossie somehow!!
