short story....me and napier work for carillion energy services..got put on redundicy notice last week as davis cameron is a wnkr bstrd.... ...offered us a volentry offer and we applied....had been bleak for a few months leading up to it but still a surprise.....thinking was payout would keep us afloat for a few months till something came up..got the call the day.we were excepted and finish up the morraw.... ....and had an offer already

so cheered maself up wae another 1

Surely that totally defeats the purpose of money to keep you afloat till you find work?

not good, especially in the build up to xmas, but if youve got paid your notice , plus a wee lump sum, your as well taking it , then start looking for a job
