West of Scotland RSOC

Came home from work today & my dog Lubo had been sick all over the kitchen floor
After cleaning it up i decided to take her out into the garden for some fresh air.

We both came back in wet - Then the rest of the family came home about 20 mins later & Lubo seemed her normal old self

5mins later i heard a strange gasping noise - so i went into the hall to find Lubo lying on the floor with her tongue out & dribbling - I lifted her head up & she suddenly passed away in my hands

I would have had her 11 years on may 29th & although she was fairly old for a german shepherd i am still absolutely devastated.

Only consolation; at least you have the other 2, rather than an empty house.

So sorry to hear that Chris, I know how hard that is my girl Ella died whilst I was comforting her after an epileptic fit last summer. Very hard when you are with them but at least she was not alone and it was not prolonged. She was a good age too and best they go quickly.

You will of course miss her but remember the good times, how happy she was and enjoy the others.

know how I felt when i lost my 2 labradors a few years ago , still miss Sammy and Bess now

Sorry to hear that mate, I'd be at a total loss if anything happen tae the wee man. Dogs really become another part of the family.

That's really sad chris dogs become a big part of your life

its never an easy time ,if theres kids about it just makes it feelworse my cassie an ex police dogs out the back mate and Im still not ready for another one
