Just to let you know that I have booked a run in this on Saturday the glasgow to Monte Carlo run , it starts 10-30 at the people's palace templeton street glasgow green for signing on , scruteneering at 13-30 and moving off at 14-00 at 1 minuite intervals , there are 3 runs happening , I am doing the Loch Lomond run , up through glasgow to blythswood square and run to the hills . Looks like 200 cars including the cars going to Monte Carlo , who leave on the Sunday evening from blythswood square hotel at 18-00 from the start ramp . Escorts mk1 ,2 anglias , capris , and other period cars pre. 1980 taking part.

All went well , was around 15,000 spectators turned up . Had a little overheating in glasgow sitting in traffic but once out on the road all was fine . Was a good display of period cars of all types , had plenty of interest around the old escort all day with lots of positive comments , and lots of cheering leaving the green .

Alex your car was getting some attention mate, the time we stood and chatted to Bobby Love the car was constantly surrounded by people
only pic I managed to get, but you get an idea of the amount of people that where there
