West of Scotland RSOC

I'm looking at buying a car down in Crewe, Cheshire which has no tax/MOT so will need trailer'd back to Glasgow.

If it had tax/MOT i'd be tempted to "break down" and play the AA relay game but that's not really an option so i need to borrow a trailer. I could probably sort out a car to tow it with and would rather tow it myself to save on taking up someone's time or paying for it.

Anyone got a trailer big enough for a Sierra that i could borrow for a weekend for beer tokens? I'm happy to leave a deposit if needs be.

I know it's a big ask but it's worth a try, the track division have helped me out before

Just a thought but i have used a Glasgow based transporter hire company a good few times, web address is :

It's self drive and fully insured and wasn't all that dear, much easier than towing a trailer, just like driving a big van

I found them last night as well Peter, and got a quote from them. Doesn't seem too but really, but I'll need to work out the milage as they charge extra over 500 miles and I think I'll be over that in total.

Still an option though
