All set for 2014

Been working on the car for the past couple of weeks, to make some small improvements to it
Most obvious is the new livery for this year,
To also look after the new engine this year, and not have a repeat of the low fuel surge issue and melting pistons, Ive fitted a 1 1/2 litre swirl pot, and bosch 044 external fuel pump as well as the DW65 intank pump, and wired it through its own relay and inline fuse all mounted in the fuse box
Under bonnet , mounted the battery in the boot, and will swap to a dry cell battery later. This was to free up some room under the bonnet to reposition the Bailey Cosworth breather. Also removed the remote oil filter, and simplified the pipework for the oil cooler. Wrapped the manifold, and fitted the coloured rocker cover to brighten up underneath the bonnet
had the car on the dyno and ran the new engine in, and had it all set up again , with some changes to the map to give it more fuelling and less boost, and the car made more power, now it 315 bhp @ the wheels at 15psi. fitted an AEM AFR wideband lambda to monitor what the cars doing on track .
Ive did one track day , just to check the car out in very wet conditions, and it was intresting to say the least with semi slick tyres on, but ran really well, with just a couple of minor oil leaks to fix. so all good
Cars awaiting its new 2 piece front discs to arrive, and new pads for the rear to help with the overheating of the back brake pads, and Ill be ready to go at Knockhill on the 20th April
Big thanks to everyone whos helped the last few month, especially STB and big 8ball
