A wee unwelcome update...... the extra power has proven itself, by killing a 4 month old clutch!
Can't do any decent revs now without it completely slipping :roll:

220mm not good enough so I guess an AP uprated one or something is now needed....

Recently got the Estate back from Sitech with a new setup, ST170 & Weber Alpha throttle bodies. Doing around 200BHP :D

Was at the 'Ring last week with it, quick and a lot of fun but need some geometry mods I'd say to make it less twitchy and understeery. Still raced and passed tons of unsuspecting cars though including an M3, AMG merc etc etc... :lol:
Managed a 9:50 on the dry day... video to follow, for now here's a couple of nicked pix :D

I hope thats not the 170engine destined for the mk3 lol! A wee bit off topic but is there any progress with the mk3, really wanting to see it completed lol! Back on topic, i'm sure the estate will go pretty well with the new set-up!

Nah, totally different engine. The MK3 has a ST170 based ZVH turbo ready to go in.... just need a clutch and diff for the 6 speed and it's good to go :D
