id recommend tuna remap running direct,decat and exhaust

dont think you can find it out,the af usually splutters around 4-5k rpm,if it was an ae car and its been to ford more than likely its been flashed the af map.just save the pennies and get tuna,theyll flash the ae map along with it

There should be a sticker inside the drivers door just beside the hinge. If it was on AE originally and then changed this should have been marked on the sticker.. However ford mechanics may have forgot.

But don't worry. If the car is standard you will probably not feel the AF cough but once you decide to mod it then it would be best to get it checked by Carl or Lami on the RSOC. It would mean a wee road trip to blackpool but it's well worth it. They can check what map you have (AE or AF)

'Tuna' is similar to bluefin (but cheaper) and again carl/lami can do this for you.

Save your pennies and head south to blackpool, you will love the drive home....
