Not been on here since i sold my RS1600i a few years ago. I've been looking for a mk2 escort for a few months. Saw a few (not so mint) examples and was getting very frustrated when the right car popped up for sale in Cardiff. A few weeks past talking to the owner getting all the details on the car. Its a 1980 1.6 Ghia. All old mot's and full history. So far i have changed the steering wheel to an RS 3 spoke.No other plans, although i may put a set of 7" superlights on it. Anyway heres a few pics.

Cheers mate. It needs a few small bits doing but nothing major. It had a full restoration 7 years ago then sat in a garage.

Engine bay all spruced up now mate. New hoses and rocker cover powder coated. Gotta do a few other bits but i'm happy with it just now.

That is very nice, a real cracker. I used to have a MK2 Escort 1600 Sport in Orange with a Black vinyl roof. The MK2 escort was a good car.
