West of Scotland RSOC

I bought this last September , I had been looking for a mk1 for a wee while and I got an email from a guy in Edinburgh telling me he had an xr2 in his garage it had been there for 6 or 7 years would I be interested
I seen it that weekend and bought it , it's came a long way in that year but was a good solid base to begin with so that helped
It's running a 1680 x flow with a Kent cam , full Ashley exhaust and has a Capri carb bolted on just now but will either get 40s or bike carbed when funds allow , fully polybushed and sitting on spax at standard ride height
7.5 inch jbw rs copies and mcr wheel arches and pained in ford signal yellow and panther black on the wheel arches

I'm really happy with it , it's needing a 5 spd box but I like the 4 spd for old skool feeling :0)

That's a stunning wee car, Signal Amber is the perfect colour for it

think fiesta centre do a 5 sp kit and its nice in yellow

Out at it in garage today re wrapping engine bay loom and wiring front fogs
Had to repair drivers front wheel arch yesterday due to some over enthusiastic driving lol
Need to remember I am no longer or ever will be 18 again lol

No kiddin old man, what do you want 5 speed for don't cut it keep it as is so to many proper xr2's been cut so they can be driven on the motorway stick the fuel in and take the b road!

That true mate it'll just stay a 4 spd mate
