started stripping it a couple of months ago but working away has slowed progress anyway the old cage has gone and being replaced by a safety devices one, it has been stripped to a bare shell for new wings and front panel along with a full respray as it sits:

2l s2 zetec ditching the standard management going megasquirt so i can upgrade to tbs later and get some cams

rst lsd box rst clutch
polybushed
spax front /koni rear suspension
braided lines- contemplating full braided lines
esc cos callipers and disks ( just got the conversion to upgrade from rs 2000 disks)
battery going in the boot
fully polly bushed
oz sparco 15s with yokos
safety devices cage
getting sparco buckets this year with 4 point harnesses to upgrade from my last
rs 3 spoke wheel may upgrade to snap off and sparco wheel
loads more bits and pieces done and will be done over winter if i can get the time to work on it
im from the isle of arran work up in aberdeen so mostly there

its not bad best ive had out of about 10 or more its a d plate too amazingly
got the megasquirt on the way along with some other new shiny bits going to get as many new parts as i can lights ect.. get her looking new

not updated this in a while going further than first planned will pretty much be group 4 spec, still on the welding lots to go yet
started on the mk2 again did some sandblasting then fitted a new crossmember and repaired the drivers side a pilar and splash panel





mocked up the front end so i can weld the drip rails




painted the inner of the front panel as theres areas i wont reach when its on

been running about the summer in this just sold it to concemtrate on the mk2

Looking good Cammy - i completely forgot you had the yellow escort now, thought you still had Rab's old Fiesta. That orange mk1 looks really clean, the mk2 must be something if you got rid of the mk1 to concentrate on it.

mk1 wasnt as clean as i wanted and prefer the mk2s building this one to how I want it, rabs old xr2 went a couple of months ago ive outgrown xr2s
