powerwashed the whole car inside and out, needed to get the salt off it








got it on the spit today, spent most of it modifying the spit as i wasnt happy with it, its much better now, modded the front to pick up on the crossmember as well, much more solid now and wont distort the front panel.



then started cleaning up the underside, got some work to do but nothing major modding the back arches further for more clearance. also started the seam welding on the chassis rails then etch primed it

Ain't seen that car in years, chrissys old xr2, did that not have a 2.0l and throttle bodies?

Yeah, got it from him about a month ago, it was a 1800, il be running a 2l on jenveys

Well if I was to put them on u wouldn't be able to see them anyway, something with lower offset and dish is required

the escorts pretty much solid now its just amount of money i need to spend on it thats putting me off so decided to get this and see how quick i could build it up(works stopping me just now) and how cheaply, but hopefully it will see the summer if I can find the bits I need
