Iv just found out today that my wheels will be ready in April...d'oh! :roll:

Although my seats and harnesses for mine and the mk1 should be ready next weeknd 8-)

Ino feels like she's been grey for a long time..Yeah mate she should be out this year although maybe not as soon as I thought, as im pushin the boat out a bit with extra things that I never thought of having before. Just wanting to doing her right first time around so I dont need to go over anything in future...Iv got some cool things planned for her...all will be revealed soon../..eventually! :lol:

nice one shifty, always best to do things right if you can! glad to head it's gonna be out this year some point, question is... you heading straight for the nearest track? or will the car live a more relaxed life now? i think i know the answer lol 8-)

Im not too sure yet mate, will prob build up the mk2 as much as I can then leave the engine, box and loom till near end....good excuse to run about in the saph a bit longer too I spose lol.
Was out in Andys the day at khill....some machine that, last time I was in it the track was a bit damp....and even the day in the heat he was losing grip....gave me a good kick up the erse to get the mk2 done! 8-)

Me and the auld yin spend most of our lives in there :lol:

as mum says its not our second home - its our first! :lol:

I thought id be about time for another wee update as alot of you lads n lassies have been asking about the car.... so here goes - bear in mind that not that much has been really done :roll:

Things are gona change now coz I can get time to work on her again!

Taking time off the car has gave us a bit of a break although we were working on mk1 at that time, but its gave me time to save some fookin dosh aswell...although heres hopin the lotto comes up! :lol:

Been collecting some parts for the build so that we will be able to go at a constant rate with all the gear at hand.
Got tension strut kit a few months ago aswell as tarmac spec ally sump guard, also got a nice flocked dash and dial surround from darran at escort tec at the weekend....top bloke! 8-)

Had her out the other weekend there for a wee wash...poor thing was covered in dust and alloy dust from cutting and grinding! :evil:

Was paranoid about anyone brushing by her! :confused:

So she was pushed out...(ino pushed! :roll:

she will have her own power soon enough hopefully!) for a wee wash.....

Took these pics tonight, she's in need of another wash already! dusty as fook but you get the idea 8)
She's now in a new space in the workshop...next time she moves from this space she will be runnin!

....if all goes to plan that is! 8-)

Got her jacked up and on stands, thinking of taking the princess four pots off and fitting em to mk1 ...

All going well atlas axle will be going on soon as well as alot of other wee bits n bobs.
