Exceptional work as always Shifty 8-) It's all taking shape perfectly by the looks of it buddy

Don't know if you've ordered any but if your in need to any wiring give me a shout buddy, I've Just ordered up 500 metres of thin walled auto electric cable in every ampage available and got a load of expandable braiding too. I'm starting the full rewire on the S1 but got enough cable and braiding to rewire several cars I think

Aye thats still the master plan mate but because I've been working away again so much I can't get anytime near it. Weekends are the only free days I'm getting and need to spend them with the wife and kids because I'm away so much lol.

I'm starting to make a full new loom though with the fuse box and relays all relocated to the glove box. It's a something that I can work on at the house at the moment and we're looking at moving house soon so as soon as I've got a garage I can bring the S1 home to work on :D

I've got pretty much everything required to fully rewire a car so if there's anything you need just give me a shout buddy ;)

Well time for a small update...

The other week we hooked up the battery and tried out some of the wireing and some things just didnt want to play  ...so I never really touched the car until tonight again....gimme a welder and a tub o cataloy anyday! lol

Over this time away from the car my auld man done a good job and picked up some more parts from Ralloy for me when he was doon the road. Grp4 throttle pedal some other bits and the vital window rubber clips!!!!....thank fook now I can get the windows in the doors :D ...and hopefully keep the dust oot!

Also was having a fair bit of hassle with my passanger side carbon arch guards so ended up getting another pair from magee motorsport, (http://www.mageemotorsport.com/index.html) top service from the lass over there and they do a nice selection of carbon gear. So got them fitted tonight just need to seal off around the edge with some black rubber sealant and were jammin! 8-)

Hopefully all going well will get the brakes within the next few weeks and get them on the front and all plumbed up. Will try get pics asap of anymore progress! :)

Well then its time for a long overdue update!, as I bought some new parts at the weekend there as of which I fitted some tonight after work and also bit the bullet and ordered up my gearbox c/w desired ratio's, modified alloy bellhousing, hyd clutch setup, paddle clutch, one piece prop, hi torque starter and snazzy alternator! lol...so with all these parts that only leaves me still to get a full exhaust system and oil cooler c/w pipes and thats us got all the parts needed to complete her!...WOOHOO! about fookin time eh!

The parts I fitted tonight were the genuine FoMoCo rear lights I got at the lakes off of rsjohn as the new'er copies that I had fitted werent that good a fit with the bulb holders etc and I wasnt generally happy with them...the genuine lights make a huge difference to the fitment of the actual light!..also picked up from the lads at Escort-Tec my front grill fitting kit...basically a load of screws and fancy clips! lol and finally got my front 1/4 bumper bolts...so all in all well chuffed with all the parts coming together :D

Here are some snapshots of the genuine rear lights fitted and how she is sat at the mo...plenty more pics to come over the next few months! ;) :D
