Good bit of progress there, this is really going to be a properly specced-up monster once its done

should be a an update tommorow guys,set up the lathe at work yesterday ready for tonight as im taking my discs in to skim the hub parts.also gota skim the bolt heads that hold the bracket for the calipers as the actual hubs are hittin these but thats easy sorted.also will make a few nylon spacers for the calipers.pics to follow tommorow.should be fun as i havent been on a lathe in ages

just in from work and can report everything went well on the lathe.have took a good bit of the discs to take wheel in a bit.if the wheel is still to go in a bit i have a few mm to play with on the hub its self that i can machine hoping to get out to the garage today if im not too tired and test fit everything and get some measurements for my caliper spacers just to finish it off.all in all im very pleased.just waiting on from brembo brackets being made and car can be lowered on to its wheels for the last time hopefully.oh and going to england on saturday to pick up my interior so things are flying along now
heres the discs gettin skimmed.took a while as i was only taking 1mm off at a time.

had to machine the bolt heads that hold the caliper bracket on as the hub was hittin against them.will be ok now.

my caliper spacers will be made from nylon.really easy to work with and strong aswell.

just went out nd test fitted the discs and.....they are spot on got the measurement for my caliper spacers so will make them tonight at work and be able to bolt calipers on.i have just held them in position for a picture.best news is the wheels are now back in the arch

tried a wheel on.looks good even without caliper

and best pic is the way they sit even with the discs on now

im the same richard,i wasnt a fan of the leather and i think buckets would have been good but i do love a good recaro for comfort and the driving position is spot on. so my target is may meet night to have the car there

yeh right i bet.you will be wanting me sprawled all over the car,infact i bet stoo has many a thought of that car would have been done sooner but my type r mot is in march.need three tyres atleast.tax aswell and insurance so its all came at once

wee update folks.new interior is in.after an eventfull trip down south when the van broke down.thanks to shaun for this as its in mint condition.also got an alloy rad,frount mount and t34 turbo.gave the rad and cooler a coat of gloss black and they have came up very good. very big thanks to derek for sorting the cooler and turbo for me.decided at the end of this month when i get paid im going to have to order a manifold to take turbo over gearbox as i am going to have serious heat issues if i dont take the turbo away from the rad area.
