I was out in the workshop for most of the day today, got loads done...link boxes all welded in and braces welded on tops. Car now on its side again for finishing off boxes underneath.
Well chuffed with how its lookin will get pics up soon.
Gona try concentrate on the Fez tho too this week, get her ready for Croft
Hopefully all goin well il be there in the mk2 next year

Managed to get a good bit more done at the weekend, didnt make the sose show on Sunday so we got stuck into the mk2

Heres another wee update for you folks
Although not much has been done to the rs except all the 4-linking primed...
Today wee decided to get our finger oot on making Goldie that wee bit more special and fun!
Got her in the workshop removed old dodgy/leaking box, single prop and open 1.1 rear axle and diff (nightmare over 50mph!) and ovcourse no lsd...
Got AFX's rs box into her and will be getting her proper Burton prop as well as the lsd axle in tomorow!
No doubt you will see me entering a meet/show sideways soon!

You gotta juggle the balls lads!....theres always alot happnin with Fords at this hoose...somtimes tooooo much tho!
Will be good to set Goldie up properly tho, gona even stick in the fishnet recaro's out the rs, hopefully get her to her first meet soon ....If I can pry the keys from my mums hand that is!
Gona need to get my finger out with the rsmk2 tho, really want her painted before winter and then hopefully get her on the road for april/may next year

Iv been busting my ass the past few days on the mk2, got the turrets all finished, fuel tank platform in, fully firewalled and primed.
Been working on the last bit of fabricating before she goes for paint tonight and thats the cage...got a few main bars cut/trimmed and welded in place, got a good few to add onto the already there 6point Safety Devices one. Probably going to add another 8bars
Will try get some pics up soon

I was out again tonight there after work doin a good bit more to the cage,,,,man my knees are fookin sore rolling about in the mk2
Heres some recent pics of whats been happnin
Me welding skids onto link boxes..

Underneath, panhard rod, link box and previous damper hole welded shut

Started the cage..(you may also notice the turrets are finished and firewall in)

Finished the ''X'' tonight, still got a good few bars to put in tho



Going to treat the car to some more gear this Friday from down south...il get some pics up when im back with the luckies!
