West of Scotland RSOC

had 2 track days now with the saxo at knockhill
and had loads of fun so far with the standard 8v engine
but today i started to take it out to make way for the 16v engine i got a few weeks ago
im sure there will be lots of problems along the way but hay!!! its a start
ROLL ON NEXT YEAR...........

just realized this is what every pic dalsy has put up in the last while looks like.......

good start keith , thats what thought march/ april to get evo back out but now

the weathers not to bad i want to go to khill in jan , but weather could change at any

time especially at khill

Im disapointed mate you didny kill it before it came out lol still its handy to have a spare loll

its a bit further on than it looks in the pics
just the need to drain the gearbox oil and take the drive shafts out and it will be ready to lift out

downside is the new engine is still in bitts and needs re built....

but it will get there in the end...................

Good upgrade for the wee car will go well when back together

and got the above tasks done today gearbox drained,driveshaft's removed and engine ready to lift out

ohh and fitted the quick shift gearstick just waiting on the up rated gear linkage's and 4 branch manifold to turn up now....

you should get a quaife diff for it , will transform car coming out the corners with

all this extra power

As Andy said a Quaife Diff makes a big big difference (Best thing I done on orange pug)

Baby steps soon become Very Large Steps

Being skint & lots more time in the garage also spring to mind

Its all worth it as most of the guys will agree
