West of Scotland RSOC

Bought the ka back in 2006 after my wee 106 quiksilver started to falling to bits! did a few things to it in the 18 months before my brother like, piper exhaust, lowered 40/35, 16" alloys, black lockwood grill, crystal lights, clear repeaters, full sound system inc bluetooth, subs, components etc.
this was it the day i sold it:


My brother changed a couple of things inc FRK seats and 16" tsw alloys bought from joey



Now i have bought the Ka back because tbh i love kas, need a car and always seen it in the drive and wanted to finish it my way lol

Spec so far:
lowered 35'/25'
Black crystal headlights
Black lockwood grill
Pioneer headunit with ipod hidden away
Pioneer components
Frp alloys. Need to get tyres
Ka racing arches

plans for coming weeks:
Ka Racing Seats. There in the frp atm because i dont have any seats lol
Coilovers
Sort out small rust patch at fuel filler and boot
Smoothed boot
Respray, it been keyed down one side
Custom exhaust with frp tip
frp Alcons just need to be fitted.

wheels have been dropped off at Chameleon in renfrew to get done in anthracite

your choice of wheels both times has been spot on. Looks really tidy apart from the usual filler cap. Easy enough fix but still a hassle

i get slated for my love for these wee motors, but they are actually fantastic to drive - just need a bit more baws about them!

Got the wheels refurbished and powder coated at Chameleon in Renfrew this week and fitted the tyres, but fook me there is a bit more stretch than anticipated with them!






There staying on there for now! should look decent when it lower and there spaced out into the arches more.
Fitted some ford racing bonnet lifters today as well not sure on them though. gonna keep them on for a bit and see if i change my mind
Hope fully next up is exhaust and mot

doing good passed an mot the other day and got a c&c custom exhaust with frp tip on it now back in the garage just saving up for some coilovers and get it sprayed. Should be done by now but bought a 5 series. Ill get some pics up soon

Got the cossie wheels on and loving no scrubbing!! Higher offset than the speedlines so dont catch
A couple pics of the frp exhaust tip on a custom C&C exhaust, top work from the guy in there recommend him any day. Had it on for a bit so thats why its boggin!
Some flat vw aero wipers as well no pics though

Thats a crackin wee runaround, always liked Ka's..all it needs now is a turbo engine in it!!! What a sleeper that would be!

now on its 3rd set of wishbones due to the rubbish design of ford bushes, doesnt help being lowered! got a set of ap coilovers down about 60mm and got the frp wheels on there.

just need to sort out the bodywork. Can anyone suggest a decent place? wanting full respray with front wing changed, fuel filler surround replaced and boot smoothed. have the new wing and repair panel already

go see boab (energy) on here , or pm him, he will sort you out with the bodywork, and al have your cozzie wheels for my zs if your selling up lol , ka's looking good mate, am sure you pmd me on zsoc about painting that ka a while ago
