Turbo?

Turbo?

Having replaced the very corroded crank pulley I can now here the other problem :lol:

Getting checked as I type but probably going to need a new (recon) turbo, standard will do lol!

Any recommendations?

Is it still the standard T2 on your Fez Mel :question:

If your unsure when you open the bonnet the Standard T2's inlet pipe comes out the turbo and over to the Drivers side wing where the air box is located were as a T3 is piped over to the Passenger wing towards the battery tray and usualy has a cone filter.

The T2's are generally quite expensive to refurb as they are very rare and were only fitted to 2 or 3 cars globally. The T3 on the other hand was fitted to loads of different cars so is less than half the price to recon. Either way I may know a man who could do a full rebuild at a very good price ;)

Cheers Derek as far as I know it is the standard T2. Mechanic getting back to me on Monday to confirm that is what's wrong so no doubt I will be in touch lol! :D
