Mk2 focus RS exhaust cut out?

Hi there was wondering, in the pursuit of a wee bit more noise I was thinking of cutting out the rear resonated section on exhaust and replacing with straight through pipe .... This may sound extreme but I'm planning on changing full exhaust next year and was just wanting a bit of extra noise without the cost. Does anyone know if this would actually make any difference or not (ps running with de-cat at the moment with open air box so already getting quite a few pops and bangs!)

it should make a bit of a diference but i dont think it will be that much to be honest.......
but you'l never know till you try... 8-)

non resonated is louder than resonated so it should be a bit louder I would think

If you want noise pops n bangs de cat it mate second hand wont cost much at all taking the middle box out as well would help

but tbh I would just wait or decat and wouldn't be cutting the exhaust up
