Basically it was running like crap in Summer '13, I had the engine re-built (the oval pistons and cylinders seemed to cause a compression issue
) and then due to an imminent house sale and move he went to live in my friend's garage not to see tarmac again until summer '14!New house with appropriate garage meant the Fez came home but was running poorly. On full throttle it was great but it was very difficult to accelerate smoothly as the car behaved as if mis-firing. I managed to get 100 miles on the engine before getting fecked off and ignoring it in the garage.
Anyway Barry did some diagnosing and it looked like an injector was at fault.
I sent the injectors for cleaning (Injectortune) which resulted in confirmation that one injector was knackered (at least 15% less fuel than required). I purchased a re-furbed injector and had the other 3 cleaned. Barry has re-installed the injectors and the car is idling and running great - I like it again now
It will be back on the road about March/April time to get run in properly and used as it should be
