right folks progress has been slow as ive been spending money on the house.managed to buy some stuff for the car aswell tho
got my stainless fuel lines,quickshift etc,also got my final defi gauge ordered and is on its way south to twins to finish the custom holders.ordered the rest of my stainless fuel lines today to go all the way under the car
underneath is all finished paint wise so basically gota source all new parts now to fit.which aint easy.
managed to clean up accumulator and fitted it.pleased with the way it looks


also painted up the fuel filler which is now fitted and looks pretty good.

If one of the "Twins" is doing the work, it will be AMAZING stevie Hope this is on par with your old S1.

quick update folks.cant afford the m.e.f adjustable arms just now with buying coilovers etc so just got my wishbones and that powdercoated.will do for the mean time anyway actually very surprised with how good they look.they came back like new from the powdercoaters also recieved in the post today my fuel feed and return stainless pipes.also managed to source a new fuel tank which will be here next week.should look loads better with it on underneath.few other bits and bobs like new clamps and clips etc,nothing exciting

rear arms now fitted both sides along with fule filler which got a coat of paint.

alot of new ford s1 stuff on ebay recently .just need to dig about rewording things if the end result is as good as the beginning then that will be a very nice s1

bit of an update.since am on nightshift i thought i would do something constructive instead of sitting about so i took my quickshift and old linkages to work to clean and build up.havent got any pre pics as i forgot the camera but the finish is stunning.what a differance,also fuel tank arrived today so i gave it a coat of paint also.waitng on it drying and then gona fit it.might be tommorow tho as i want to make sure its got a couple coats.note the rubber gasket i also made as my old rs had a small annoying vibration.

drum roll time.best update so far.really chuffed now.had to rebuild quickshift as i had done it wrong.oops.anyway.got fuel tank fitted today,quickshift now its right.fuel pump and bracket.fuel lines connected up etc.heres some pics in no order.only thing to get is the pump holder that goes through wheel well.its still held in place with the other tho.

Looks like a bit of graft has been done. Surely you must have got your burd to do it for you? I mean that fuel tank must have been heavy for your sissy boy arms?

exhaust on the series one.filled her up with fuel.two primes of the fuel pump and she started still to get a couple exhaust clamps on but she was sounding amazin.not long now till its finished now
