Well thanks very much Mr B, its your pick up that gave me the inspiration to make the car faster, coming down from the campsite to the town in the back of the trusty pick up at speed, got me real excited

Big thanks to Shep too, who every time I mentioned "Beat the ST " and the "DORF" he would run round and round chasing his tail and barking like a mad dog, gave me the inspiration to make the car quicker..... good old Shep. Next year ill bring up a copy of the mag for him to put on the wall of his kennell

looking good mate u dnt have any 1.6 zetec sumps lying around mate av strated fukin about with ma 2.0 zetec engine but its got the left handed sump on it that fowls the exhaust downpipe need sum help witha few other hings too lol

I went into Spray Store in Motherwell, and asked for brush on paint, goes on absolutely brilliantly, and the match is bangon

I know the guy in Spraystore, and he always looks after me

Slight ammendment to my plans, the engine is now going full ST170 with the head as well

ive been working on the engine last couple of days, Ill post up some pics tomorrow

Thats the engine all built up now, with the modified water pump pulleys , and engine mounts as well as inspection of the engine and reassembled with new steel head gasket and big end bolts now ARP bolts to help keep it all together when Im giving it stick

A few quick photos of the engine, Im hoping to have it in the engine bay next week sometime, then get all the new suspension and brakes on the car , and running middle of January, just need to make time for the car
