Time for another update folks!
Now thats us off for the hols we can really get stuck in about both the mk1 and my mk2
Was in the workshop all day today, getting alot done
Through the week I had finished repairing any bit on pass side of mk1 and gave her a coat of grey primer for now.
Got the brakes sorted on her today and fittied the propper twin throttle linkage, re-fitted wheels and seats.
Will be down off stands tomorrow, for a wee test drive!
to see how she fairs with that engine and box in etc
Then it will be whisked back into workshop and stripped and put on spit for a good bit of tlc
...better doing all the work now rather than down the line
My mk2 was getting a good going over today aswell..fitted the propper tubing in front of axle for wcxm mounts.
Now its strong as fook up there!...I can hit sum yumps etc with confidence!...well maybe down the line I will!
Also last night and this morning I sorted my rear 4link boxes and skids underneath car..wasnt happy with the height of em. Spot on now tho!

Tomorrow she will get all that grey glossed over with the red.
Then we will be fitting the wxcm, fronts struts,steering rack, rear axle etc and get her down on her feet/wheels!!!!!
