thats looking awesome dalsy! it'll be a proper revvy track engine. how are you controlling the VVT or are you using vernier pulleys? you wouldn't happen to have a zetec inlet manifold for twin carbs lying spare would you?

Cool 8-) . . . I've heard of that wee tweak before with using a shift light to switch it... could you give us a wee shout if it goes ok coz I'm thinking of building a new turbo engine possibly based on a st170.

just out of interest who would you be using/recommend to set your carbs up when its going?? :D

Peter , Ive been recommended Setantis in Pretwick, spok to the guy on the phone and seems to know his stuff about Delortos etc.....

I used to use Staurt at Robinson Tuning in cambuslang, but theyve changed the buisness now, and dont do tuning :( :( sound guy was Stuart, but not there any more

A wee update of the progress of the car, thats theengine and box now in. Thanks to Big Davie and Stu for there help today 8-) 8-)

is the bottle of bud on the scuttle panel a special engine additive dalsy?? :lol: is that Seditas Cars in prestwick? I work in prestwick and I've been in there a couple of times getting jets for webber and stuff and they're quite helpful and knowledgable about carbs... always some tidy cars in there too.. I think they set the cars up on the road though bcoz there wasn't any rollers to my memory last time I was in there.

Yes thatsthe name of the company, dont have rollers , but Im just looking to have the carbs balanced , and the throttle position sensor checked is OK

Thats the engine all but complete now, and the new B&M shifter fitted also

Next its the suspension, and brakes

rocker cover looks good with the black thru the middle to split it up .

thats the car now all runninmg, sounds great , very very very quite

suspension AVO coilovers and area six bottom arms now fitted along with the willwood brakes

wheels on and just got clearance for the brakes

B&M fitted , and new Tilton brake biasing valve positioned, just need to fit new brake pipes for it, then bleed brakes
