car was down at SEDITAS cas in pretwick, getting the carbs all set up, balanced and fueling sorted

had some issues with the carbs , but now all sorted, thanks to Michael and the boys at Seditas

Brakes now all fixed too, and bled, all set up and the bad oli leak fixed , which eventaully was trcaed to the V V T valve housing leaking down the back of the timing belt, thanks to CARNAGE CONVERSIONS.COM top dog, John IMSY Armstrong , and Wee jimmy " THE DRIVESHAFT KILLER" lol:

Cars off to Knockhill this weekend on track with all the new set up, but without me Im afraid as Im niteshift all weeknd, so its been intrusted to John to give it a shakedown , but should be going well, felt very strong after its tuneup, so looking forward to some positive feedback on the car

Car was goin well at Knockhill, but needs a gearbox to get the most out of the mods to the car

bumped into an old friend of mine at Knockhill , who just happened to have the box for me, a fully rebuilt, close ratio box with perfect final ratios..................so without further ado :D

out with the old

and in with the new, thanks to Stu for the help in putting it in the car

The Fez is looking sweet Dalsy but I'd imagine with the new engine setup it could chew standard boxes up in no time :extinguishflame:

Is that another IB5 box that you've put in :?: Would have nice seeing the Getrag box in there but I'd imagine that would require major works in fabrication and electrics

its another BC box Derek, but just all rebuilt, if it goes bang, Ill just hand it back

Quaiffe are now doing a sequential IB5 gearbox, but its £4000 + vat, and Im not selling my cossie for a gearbox

Ohhhhhhh thats a bit steep, the CTS gearboxes seem to get a very good write up although a Stage 2 job with Quaiffe ATB diff is about a grand. Thought about getting one of those myself for the S1 once the ZVH is in there 8-)
