well i had been looking for something that i could plod about with in my newly aquired garage

finally found something that ticked the boxes ...

heres a sneeky peek at it .. will post up pics once it had a proper clean etc ..

not sure on the exact spec of the car as of yet ( the proper title ) but the car has the tennis edition half leather fitted so the jury is still out weather its a proper tennis edition or not its just had a new hood fitted ,also there is a few bit missing that need sorted... either way its got loads of potential and with current tax and mot it can be used asap witht he summer round the corner ..

STRAIGHT TO THE POINT THERE JOHN ,IS THAT THE TESCO CAR PARK IN GREENOCK

yeah its the tesco car par in greenock ,

it was from wishaw , it was on ebay last week ( pics didnt do it justice tho ) guy wanted 450 offered him 350 and he took it , also gave me a set of leather recliner bucket seats ( think my m8 is gonna buy them for 80 quid ) so basically getting the car for 270 !! and thats with tax till may and mot till july .. had some spares in the boot too ..

it had -100 mm lowering springs on the back , i changed these at the guys house for the originals as it wouldnt fit on the trailer properly , and now looks 100 times better ..


my shopping list is ( in no particular order)

- S2 rs turbo alloys
- rs turbo archs and skirts
- drivers door card
- proper exhaust ( mongoose or scorpion ) etc
- -50 mm lowering springs
- replace some of the damaged worn switchs etc
- white dials
- full service
- rs 4 spoke steering wheel
- replace the trip compter ( its missing )

ive got a shoe string budget looking for bits cheap as chips etc ..
