landrover discovery off roading projects

ill be converting these 2 discos for off roading over the coming months and posting pics and tips here so if your interested or have anything to add please comment
(mods hope this is ok,not an rs but interesting all the same)


the red one is a 98 300tdi totally standard at present with some off road tyres
the blue one is a 95 300tdi ,2" spring lift kit,poly bushed ,diff gaurds etc so basic mods works well

Aye , its a good day out, used to do some off roading up there,
just take my crosser up now.

started the blue one this week after last weekends expedition,burst brake pipe/ripped mirror off etc
and after getting stuck in a river decided to make a snorkel for it and gave it an additional battery also






amazing what parts you can fabricate from old jaguars, should be on scrap heap challenge me

That home made snorkel is funny as

extended braided hose kit

rear spring dislocaation cones,stops the spring falling out going over extreme yumps

easy mod , reverse the wheels and fit extended arch kit

about 6" should about do it............

job done , removed about 4" of arch to get them in , awesome!
