Sorry this isnt an RS post but i am looking for some advice (MONTHEWEST)

I have Been offered A Honda Jazz (ex company car)

2005
1.2 S
50K
10 months tax
9 Months MOT
Full Service
5 Door
Silver

minute stone chip on bonnet
2 small scuff marks on passener door
tiny dent on driver front wing

Cash sale £2000

I have not driven it yet but i did notice a bit of a LIP on the edge of the front discs?

I have monday morning to test drive and or agree


Is there anything bar the usual i should double check?


For anyone that doesnt know me ... its been about 24 months i think lol since i last owned a car
i am hoping to own another cossie for next summer (EDDIECOS lol)

i just need to get started again

Hi, I would have a quick look at Parkers reviews but I know 3 or 4 people with Jazzs who love them. Very reliable, typical Honda, and a lot dearer than the competition to buy but that just reflects how good they are. It is a REALLY good price if it's genuine, should be around 3k I would think. I don't know if they are on timing belts or chains but maybe worth a quick call to a Honda dealer to check the Service History and when the next service is due.

Personally I would get it bought

Unfortunatley I know nothing about Honda's other than they're reliable

That said like most cars they only ever loose value over time but there's some good bargains out there on the RS front at the moment but it all depends on wether your looking for a daily driver or a weekend car.
