Starter motor on 2.9 Cosworth

Where is it?

I haven't had the car long and not that technical minded. It won't start and it's just ticking. Will a wee dunt with a hammer help?

Could this be a battery problem? I'm needing to get a few things checked out as although the car usually starts first time it's chucked it on me twice now. I'll go back out and try it again in a minute.

could just be not enough power in battery are lights on the dash bright

or could be starter sticking a chap with a hammer could help , think its on the

right hand side low down

I found it.

Also found out battery was gubbed. New one this afternoon.

Now for a gasket kit.
