small update started takin underneith back to bare metal till we get the sand pot sorteed out and stregthin up the inner sills so ive bent sum 3mm plates up that are the same height as the box frame the cage sits on heres sum pics

well bought a mc rallying splitter of some one guy totally chopd the thing up man i asked him to give me plenty of room to trim it off the old bumper look at the state of it however ive salvaged it heres sum pics

well was fuking about with a few things the got the old hole where the petrol ca was filled up more of undernith squared up the 1st skim of fiberglass and the splitter moulded on the front bumper 3mm back inner sill plates in place was working away and turned round and wee lewis wasny there looked about for ages only to find him hiding from doing work up on the roof holding us back wits happenin man ! aw aye and a seen a sheep the other day on the road so a took a picture to show use what a sheep fae newmains looks like

well got all the suspension off and the car up on stands to get more of the underneith cleaned also made up a wee trolly for it the other day out sum scrap square bars and 4 wheels only took half an hour and it works a treat should i smooth the welds around the cage aswell ano iam takin part of the weld of but in that cross section its been welded underneith and i ran a weld over it again so i can buff it smooth what do use think smooth or welded ?

well small update came home from work to find sum goodies arrived rare smoked front indicaters same ones as my back smoked ones took me 6 months 2 find them haha also sum bonnet pins and tailgate springs tipd the car on its side and gave it a coat of etchy the bits u see thats dark are the bits thts still to be sanded back to bare metal the rest is all dun was hoping to start sticth welding 2nite but my damn welders out of gas so thts on hold til i get sum gas 2morro also took a wee pic to give use an idea of what the front bumper will be like fitsss likeeee aaaaa gloveee !

small update primed the arches side skirts back bumper tailgate and spoiler again started stitch welding the shell aswell and had a fuk about with the front bumper again

well we update here dun sum more seam welding and the bumpers starting to take shape also got the chance of a 4x4 sierra cosworth so iam think about going cossie power am waiting on andy g getting back to me with a price few randoms of the new work van and a coverd the bare metal floor with kurust feedback welcome

well small update got the underside in primer and started on seam welding the struts and gave ma bumper a coat of primer to see how its coming on still needs sum work but ill get it sorteed am doing a standard bumper aswell cause am growing out of the mc rallying one but will be good to chop and change cause av got another bonner witch has been cut to the 1st swede line to allow more air flow going up 2morro so hopefully get a good bit dun few holes i need to place in and gawna get all the suspension stuff powder coated :D

cheers mate iam doing ma best tae make this thing solid as and clean as just need to seam weld the front and back arches/struts and place in 4 wee holes in the bottom then i can prime it again stonechip it then hammerite it am going to try get al the susspension stuff powder coated so a can put them al back on and flip her over on its wheels again ready to finish the inside of the shell and then its time to put on brand new outerpanels cant wait til i get all the panels on and the outside in primer :D:D all ready got my tailgate arches skirts bumpers bonnets wingmirrors all in primer and flatted ready to be painted but holding off till the shells ready then dong the lot then !

well got another update got loads stripped down and partly cleaned for to be powder coated after ive blasted them got skirts bumpers arches tailgate spoiler all flatted primed the wing mirrors , insides of the doors and tailgate there was no gas left in the welder so didnt get the holes dun put sum pics up of whats to be sorteed and a few randoms of ma mate painting the front of his merc

well small update started powder coating sum bits and bobs strut brace and that dun few bits to the shell cut out shitey bits ae rust ready for fresh metal got sum reges made and cut them down pure jailbait what ones should i go for bike size or standard not had tht much time to get working on her need sum gas for the mig and were moving to west calder few pics of the new premises ill get sum pics of everything in it lot more space and nice clean new building pic ae ma mates merc he painted his merc and got a set ae rims for it mates thot it would be funny to make a bomb then rap rags round there heids daftys :D

small update dun some more seam welding to the car welded a few holes up and lated them got a new bumper and cut it out how i want it to look growing out of the whole intercooler in yer face type thing am stil gawna finish the old bumper and just leave it so i can swap and change plus got a wee escort van am gawna stik a gti front bumper on it escort estate rear bumper and maybe a set of arches and skirts n a set off wheels a needs pulled on the jig but ill get it sorteed gawney fire jet black on it tae also rover turbo manifold iam going to cut off the end flange and wel the zetec one on :D

its going standard black again mate iam hoping to get all the welding undernth finished and the stonchip off the back arches this week and the fronts of the doors and the bumper primed ive neglicted the fiesta for now trying to get my van up and runnin going to paint that black aswell got a estate rear bumper sideskirts and a gti front bumper for it looing for a decnet set of ford alloys for it if u know anyone :D
