cuprabob said he'd loan me his trailer for friday, aint dont think he's been back on here since then tho. So provided i hear from him i'm all sorted.

all i need to do is wire up the electrics on the st24 before then, when i got it someone had lopped off the socket and snipped the wires, quick scrappy jaunt should sort that!

Don't know if this is any help but have you thought about these transport hire trucks. self drive just add fuel. saves towing with the car.

Best move you have made in the past few years Grant.
I know you were attached to the silver one, but you are doing the best thing for your pocket and the cars.

Its maybe white, but just make sure you fit the RS7's and it will be a crackin' wee car.
Looks a good base to build a nice one too.

PS- if Rab says he'll lend you a trailer, he will. Keep me posted if your stuck.

Happy days Grant, glad to see you got the shell I knew it wouldn't hang around for long at that price ;)

Be good to see another white Fez Turbo local too 8-)

As I said last week buddy if you need a hand with the change over just give me a shout I should be back on my feet and able to drive again in a few days hopefully.

stuart: yeah i agree, best move ive made tbh, the other car i was very attatched to but there comes a time when you know its needing the full restoration treatment, and i just dont have the money or facilities to be able to do it, hopefully someone will take it on and keep it from the scrapper! aint heard back from rab yet, if i dont i'll give you a shout. got my towbar electrics all wired up today and got a rear plate made up for the trailer.

mel and shifty: cheers!

neil: white is growing on me, its going to be as much of a nightmare to look at in the sun as the silver one lol

derek: i thought about it that night i was at yours and decided to go for it, as you say, knew it wouldnt hang around too long and i wouldnt find another one like it! I'll give you a bell when the engines getting done, looking to be the weekend of the 19th-20th of may for that if you're free!

davie: dont worry, it'll be kept standard looking, plan is to keep the amber lights on it, stick on my headlight protectors, my rs7's and my euro style rear lights. maybe colour the wing mirrors/handles and eventually de-lock the doors. mk4 rear wiper on it from the old car aswell, then just leave it like that :) oh, and re-locate the numberplate back to its original position, get some dealer plates/sticker made up for it aswell lol

emma: yeah fingers crossed for kames, i love that wee twisty road on the way in, wouldnt be the same without a fiesta to do it in!

jimmyson: it was more luck and timing than anything else, just popped up right when it needed to and i had to snap it up before it went!
