right we seem to be traveling two diferent roughts
some the A9 stirling way and some the forth bridge way
for those traveling the forth bridge rought we will be meeting up at hearthill at 10.00 then onto mc d's at broxden roundabout' perth about 11.00am to meet up with those traveling the stirling rought
then onto scone palace for just after 12.00......after a burger or two of cource....lol

Why is everyone not meeting closer to home and convoying up together Makes great pics IMO.
Last time, photographer (Ade) took some great pics all through the journey up, from an ideal vantage point (back seat of Annettes BM converible, roof down). Top pics, and quite a few of these ended up in the Fast Ford article too.

Where is everyone meeting for lunch and washing the cars?? Is it just McD's- Scone- home??

we are open to ideas............
so lets have them but you need to be quick so people know whats going on
as for the pics on the way up ... thats out as the photographer's from dundee
and will just meet us at scone at 12.30

so ideas on a postcard please.....

Format the last time (why change a winning formula IMO):

Most left from the Park about 9-9:30am and others joined enroute. We went to the Brewers Fayre near Scone Palace for lunch, then washed the cars in the carpark. (They have an outside tap, just bring a bucket etc). That way the cars are clean for the shoot, as the Palace is only 2ish miles up the road.

Got into the grounds about 1-1:30pm iirc, and were there til about 4pm. Convoy home.

That way its a whole day out, and would also appeal to folks with kids/ family, so maybe get a few last minute names to boost numbers.

I was gonna go if i'm not nightshift, but dont fancy burger- Scone- home. Its a long run for a McDonalds

I'll be coming over via stirling & meeting Cupra bob en route as hes leaving from there too so let us know what time to be wherever or to catch you's en route!!

I'm easy, but that's off topic

Liking the idea of a convoy as suggested by the beard and rubber duck aka Stewart.
Instead of meeting at Harthill and heading east, we could meet at Showcase Coatbridge and head to meet the rest at Stirling Services, then head for the brewers fayre from there?

ok then buy popular demand if no one has any objections we could meet at the showcase at 09.30 leaving at 10.00
and travel up the m73 to stirling services at 10.30 picking up the others en-rought and then onto the wheel inn at scone
to clean the cars and lunch around 11.30 and meet the photographer at scone at 13.00
infact i will invite him to the wheel inn with us..........

Sorry folks but unfortunately I have to pull out of this one.

Cossie broke down on Thursday night with it constantly blowing fuses for the fuel pump. Need to get the fuel pump rewired but the new loom wont be with me until Monday or Tuesday.

Just saw this as i was on the other thread lol Where abouts are the stirling services as i was planning on meeting cupra bob at the little chef on the A9 but if everyone is meeting at the services then i shall go there, is it the one on the M9 or M80 ??? thanks

if you join at the stirling straits emma
it will be one junction back towards glasgow......only 1 or 2 miles on the m9
we will be there at 10.30am.........see you there
