yeah i will do, dont have a choice, as its my daily driver!

cheaply aint going to be an option though, T3's are cheaper than T2's but i dont want to go that way, sooner keep it as-is, even if it means forking out a bit more!

just proves that buying the last one was a bit of a false economy, yes it was cheap and lasted a while.. but i knew it wouldnt last!

Glad I wasn't the only one smoking on the day. Mines was terrible but only at higher revs!! That's bad luck mate! Mines seems to be an easier fix, sump gasket leaking oil onto downpipe. . . Hope you get it sorted ok mate!

Bummer Grant I got my original T2 reconditioned at http://www.turbocentreuk.co.uk/ which cost around £400 but that was a full rebuild as everything was knackered. The price ranges depending on what's up with it. I phoned round loads of places and they were the only ones who seemed to know what they were on about.

cheers for that mel, im trying to chase up the guy on fiestaturbo as his is much cheaper than a new/reconditioned one but i may well drop them an email, as i have also got my old t2 aswell, so that would be 2 turbos to exchange for a working one, so it might be a cheaper option. only issue i'd have there is having the car out of action!
