opinions on Ford Rangers?

Anybody have any experience of driving Ford Rangers?

Just wondering what they're like to drive, fuel consumption, towing etc?

What year I had an 07 thunder the 2.5tdci one there alright like but they rust so check for that I was getting about 27-29mpg average however it could tow a house at the back of it I think your legal to just under 3 ton I could sit at 100 with my 16i on the trailer nae bother

Cheers Neil, I've heard the later ones are better on fuel, I'll keep my eye out for condition. Looking for something that's good for towing so that's good news,

To sum up a Ford Ranger in one word JUNK!!

When i was getting my 4x4 i drove the Ranger/Hi Lux/ Warrior of the 3 the ranger was the worst, in all areas.

Very uncomfortable ride, terrible on fuel very cheap and plastic inside, and this was brand new remember, would hate to see/drive one with a few miles!!!

If its a tower ur lookin for a disco bus is the way to go I just cant drive them I poop myself taking a corner

a late mk2 with ACE corners ok.you just have to remember its not a sports car.Very affordable to and theres lots around.disco 3 is nice though.
