leather steering wheel retrim

Just won an RS 3 spoke wheel for the MK2, but it could do with some new leather. does anyone know somewhere local I could get it done??

there was a guy doing them, but his company i think has now folded and his reputation in tatters, was a crackin guy who would never walk past us at the shows

mike rainbird got mine retrimmed when i had my rs turbo
also theres a guy on on pf called slammedorion that does them and his work looks top notch

Chris Latham is his name. He did the retrim on my RS four spoke and the workmanship was fantastic.

yes didnae really want to name Chris, but I suppose to save anyone getting bumped , best not to deal with him until hes resolved some of his issues

Seems a real shame, he used to have a really good reputation as well.

From what I have read (and you always take these things with a pinch of salt) it sounds like he just took on far too much for a one man band, although some of the stories of him keeping folks parts for over a year are disappointing if true.
