rise in stolen cars

a friend of mine has informed me he caught someone trying to steal his neighbours Astra VXR last week, police arrived and told him there's been a significant rise in the number of cars being stolen in south Lanarkshire, East Kilbride being the worst, theives are putting fishing rods through letter boxes and stealing the car keys, or in this case 2 guys just walked into the house and took the keys whilst the owner was in a different room having dinner, they also said the cars all being stolen are similar, ie. frs, type r's scoobies, evos and VXR's
so be carefull guys and girls

nah but it aint alaughing mater ,,I seen motion sensing ! keyrings on e bay 20/30 quid thats a small price to pay when it a 20 odd grand car OR any car to be truthfull also ebay sell sporting goods like big baseball bats wood is most deffo the best but to buffty ally looks good just duck when u swing it they boing back lol

lol that's an idea Keith, aye av seen those key rings, good idea, in gonna put my key on my wee yorkies collar, they'd have to detach the wee dog from their balls in order to steal my car lol

Never leave my keys in view and if they do come in they need to get by my Akita first lol, but Aye as much as you try if they want it they will go to lengths to get it even to the extent of breaking in whilst your asleep now as much as I would be gutted losing the car I wouldn't want any harm to the family. You can only keep a eye out for people following you home ect aswell I rarely leave the car sitting out either
