How to change original boss on s1 rs steering wheel?

Ive just ordered a new wheel boss to fit the rs turbo wheel to my car, only problem is how do i remove the original?

See the pictures, anyone removed one before?





Also this is simular to the one i ordered off ebay, guy assures me it will all work in the end and guarentee's a refund if not.

That boss is for after market steering wheel should a standard wheel not go on without it ???

Hi I want to fit an rs turbo wheel into my mk5 fiesta but the steering lock wheel is different. I want to know if the rs turbo original boss can be removed? The guy selling that boss says it fit aftermarket wheels aswell as rs wheel.

That boss may well fit rs accesory wheels like the 4 spoke for the mk3/4 scort
I dont think you can fit that wheel on ,stevies right its an aftermarket boss

As Mickey says; that boss "might" fit RS accessory wheel, but not a standard one.

Theres no safe way of attaching a boss to an original S1 steering wheel as its all one piece.

would it not be easier fitting a fiesta rs turbo wheel thats a hex boss instead of the escort thats a spline I belive
