Help with RS1800 seats

Can anyone tell me if the early roll top seats that was in the RS1800 was in any other cars.
I am also attempting to find the plastic cover plates that sit behind the chrome handles (or if there is anything out there that is the same) as the set I have they are missing.

Gary the only other car that had roll tops was the mexico and both interior and exterior handles were black

Stu, yes your right the early rs2 (base model) did have roll tops or like 16 sport seats and also some series x had them..... once yer over forty the memory starts to go

The early 1800 had a chrome handle instead of the black plastic adjusters as seen on the Mexico’s and RS2000, some of the early publications show this. My 1st 1800 has seats like this but the black plastic cover plates behind the chrome handles on one seat is missing.
My first car has a number of other very different parts as it was hand built from a sport not a Mexicos, I think the first cars all were build from sports.
Other parts that are different, the back bumper has only one number plat light but there are a lot of them about, my rear rubber spoiler on the other hand has a ford imposed logo in it and I have not seen that before
I will keep digging and see what I can find but if anyone has any information on this I would be very grateful if they could pass it on

The very very very early rs1800 seats had chrome handles and I think they were very similar to paddy hopkirk seats made by bill over ltd .moore end works Carlton brae Bedfordshire . I had a look through some of my books and it is possible that these found there way into early rs1800 seats Gary . They do come up on the net every now and then . As you may know and probably do I viewed 8 rs1800 mk2 escorts owned by the one person last year in his private collection , some restored and some totally untouched ever , now I an not sure if he has a 75/76 I could ask for you .
