So, figured it was time I put some pics up of the old cars I've had through my career
Some of you will recognise some them no doubt (especially Stuart!).
These were some of the pics I could find; I've lost others during house moves etc.

I remember quite a few of them John.
The old scanned pics dont do some of the cars justice. S1, Granada and moonstone 3 door were lovely cars.

Your current purchase looks like its gonna be a minter too.

Thanks guys, the old photos aren't very good (pre digital camera days!) and don't do the cars justice as Stuart says.
The Granada was amazing and very rare, even 20 odd years ago.
Amazing to think I had the XR3i when I was 18, the Granada at 19, the RS turbo by 20 and the 3 door when I was 21.
Wouldn't get insurance now...

The white 3 door is slowly getting there.
So far, I've bought remanufactured side stripes (it was naked without these), a refurbed 4 spoke RS steering wheel, group A dump valve to get rid of Bailey one, replacement wiper arms and front scuttle panel, stereo, polished underbonnet bling, alternator etc.
Going off in the coming weeks for more bodywork and paint as it's not up to my standard.
After that, the wheels need to go and then it might be a trip to MSD for some more power

That's a fine collection of cars. I used to own a Y reg Granada 2.8i sport. It was a great car, with the cloth Reacaro interior, White alloys and spoilers.

Thanks Davie, I was on a mission from an early age.
My Dad's mate offered me the xr3i when I was only 14 or so as a joke, made a promise to myself I'd get it when I was 18, and did. Tracked it down through detective work, chapped the blokes door and bought it!

Spotted the Granada outside the Fir Park cafe in the mid 80's, again said I'd own it one day. Found it for sale some years later in Law village, deal done and drove it away. Cracking cars, very rare even back then.

As for the 3 door, first seen a white one when they were brand new, destroying a 205gti across the carriageway into Hamilton. Me and some mates from school were walking to Hamilton on a Saturday afternoon for the pictures, said I'd have one of them by the time I was 21, and did.
Sold the blue 3 door after 8 or 9 years and many thousands of pounds, messed about with M3s and TVR's, but the 3 door was always the one, hence the white one now.
Needs work, but I'll get there. Just stripped the interior out over the last couple of days, so it's heading off to get more paint. Can't believe the money these things are fetching nowadays!
