Shows
A reminder that Cumbria RSOC show is on Sunday 12th May.
This is normally the opening RS show for WOSRSOC, a nice wee run down and a good chance to blow the cobwebs off your car
We discussed Croft and the parking issues for show cars last year being on the un-cut grass whilst non-RS clubs got hardstanding parking. Mel will be phoning to find out what the plan is this year.
Trackday
Trackday for Members at Knockhill is confirmed as Friday 9th August from 6pm to 8pm.
The format will be open pit lane with a maximum of 40 cars, MEMBERS ONLY, although the car doesn't have to be an RS
Track time is £50, second driver £20 and Passengers £5.
Mel will take payments at meetnights so folk can pay up in instalments if they want to.
Fast Ford magazine will be covering the event.
Photoshoot
The first WOSRSOC event is the Photoshoot at the Riverside (Transport) Museum in Glasgow on Sunday 21st April.
People are asked to arrive for 8.30am. The museum staff have asked that we show the cars for a few hours at the front of the museum after the photoshoot.
We have discussed going for a late lunch somewhere afterwards.
WOSRSOC Regional Day/weekend 2013
The date for our day is the 30th June 2013. Dalsy has been in touch with East Ayrshire Car Club but unfortunately our contact has been ill so there hasn't been a lot of progress on the details at the moment.
However we are expecting to have our day on the Sunday and we will be putting up posts soon for volunteers for various tasks on the day including marshalling.
Grant has agreed to produce a flyer so we can start advertising the event on other websites.
Next Meetnight
Next meetnight is 3rd April 2013 at the usual venue The Mailcoach, Uddingston.
