Knockhill tomorrow

Im booked on at Knockhill tomorrow for a 4 hour open pit lane track day

Need to run the new engine in, and get the rings bedded in correctly to the block, and hopefully have a trouble free day

Im both excited and nervous about the day, but got to get back on track sometime I suppose, and its got to be checked before we all go down to Oulton on the 16th

Cars also booked into HQ Garage on Thursday to get more power, with DW65 pump and 660 cc injectors being foitted after the track day, and new Forge actuator with blue spring to run more boost, so again looking forward to see what the car will do when all remapped by Russ with the engine "REALLY " rebuilt this time

Car did 284 bhp @ the wheels before , so should see a big improvement now it has compression and correct head fitted

In all honesty dont think youve much too worry about the job has been done the way it should have been done 8000 miles ago jst break her in gently n then give it the treatment

The engine is as quite as a mouse, and its been built with all the right bits and an extreme attention to detail, so should be as goos as gold tomorrow

I cant wait till tomorrow now and the fact its to absolutely pee it down, might actually help me out a little

what a day, after running the engine in for 80 miles on track and doing an oil and filter change , we used the advise " GO FOR IT"

Car is flying, and Im over the moon with how its running, roll on Thursday for its set up at HQ Garage with bigger injectors and more boost

New injectors fitted with new fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator and the wee list of repairs all fine that I accrued from Saturday
Removed the mineral running in oil and replaced with full synthetic oil again
Now let's see what the car car really do

Cars back from the dyno session and all in one piece

Focus running 16psi did 304.7 bhp ATW with 336 ftIbs ATW so I'm very happy with that and the car has plenty left in it yet
