Driftland Ford Day, Fife: April 12/13th 2014

We have booked a clubstand for this event.
I know its borderline for a lot of the cars going back on the road, but post on the thread if you are interested, and we can re-assess nearer the time.

We are very pleased to be announcing our first Themed event for 2014.

It will be FORD day. Its on the 12/13th of April 2014.

We will have our normal drift shenanigans on the drift track, as well as a HUGE show and shine section, for you guys to fill with Scotlands finest blue ovals.

This event will be featured by both FAST FORD and Classic FORD.
This will be your chance to blow off the winter dust and get the polish out. If any of the clubs want a show stand at this event, please contact us.

We will have show and shine prizes, as well as a prize for the best ford based drift car.

All are welcome, we look forwards to it.

£10 Entry.

Is this event on for 2 days & if so is the clubstand booked for both days? Also is everyone going for both days? Just wondering as I'm really hoping to go to this but probably wont make both days so wondering whats the best day to go.

and drifting both days............

It's at Driftland Mikey which is at Lochgelly, Fife (20 mins from Forth Road Bridge so a good bit nearer than Crail)

Driftland have advertised their Ford Weekender again and I have confirmed the show is actually on the Saturday 12th, not Sunday. I have contacted them to check and our stand will be on the Saturday (there won't be space for stands on the Sunday due to the drift car paddocks etc.).

The first big drift event of 2014 is only a few weeks away. Its a double header. On Sat 12th of April we have a public drift day as well as our Ford Show and shine. There will be competitors from Retro Drift Challenge at the public drift day trying to get the advantage over the competition. We have prizes and trophies for the show guys and one for best ford drifter.

Then on the Sunday (13th) we have Round 1 of the RDC, including drift taxis (with the RDC drivers), and gp4 escort track displays. At the same time Hardie Race Promotions will be hosting a Stock car meeting(including everyone's favourites the BANGERS) on the oval so there is loads to be doing and watching.

Cost for entry is £10 per day . Advance weekend tickets will be in the shop in the next 20 minutes priced at £16 per person.

Saturday driver slots which will be limited, will also be in the shop priced at £52

Oh kak...I wanted to go see the bangers on the Sunday, plus it seemed the better day for everything. Is anyone doing both days?

Might go both days but due to the drifting comp and paddock there is not room for actual stands. The Saturday should be good though as they seem to be getting lots of coverage, first time for everything!!
