Escort EFI Turbo Idling Trouble & Boost Misfire

Alright folks long time no speak, Back in the world of fords by buying myself a Escort 1.6GL with a Fiesta Turbo engine in it,

Car is not too bad shape but needs a bit of fine tuning,

The idling is a nightmare, when the car is first started it cuts out about 3 times before finally idling, then it runs as if it is about to cut out, This does get a bit better when warm but not much,

Also the more annoying problem is that when giving it the beans and you hit boost, sometimes you get an almighty misfire and you loose boost then it comes back on bit like it holding back,

Runs OFAB on EFI and no AMAL valve so I know its not a boost limit thing,

Any ideas, its driving me nuts lol

the cutting out , i would clean out idle speed control valve , remove and clean with brake/ carb

cleaner , fill it up with wd40 and turn ignition on and off , you will here it clicking if not it could be faulty

then need to set base idle there is a small screw next to butterfly need to remove wire to iscv and turn screw

till engine will just tick over about 750 rpm and contect wire back on iscv

as for running problem best to take to rolling road to find fault
