You will notice that Stu (Events Co-ordinator) will put up Roll Call posts for upcoming shows and events, approximately one week before.
It is important that you check the website and reply to these posts if you are booked for a stand or event to confirm you attendance. We have to book stands at these shows with fixed numbers of attendees so that we can be allocated the appropriate space on arrival. There will not always be a Committee member at every show so for those attending it gives a definitive list of who to expect to turn up. It is not ideal to expect 10 folk and only have half turn up on the day, there may be other clubs with additional cars who could use the space, we also like to make some effort to lay our stand out sensibly
The Roll Call post can also be used to organise meet-ups for travel etc.
I understand that circumstances and plans change and sometimes the car refuses to make it to a show
(that never ever happens with Fords.........oh that's right, it does 
) however a quick update of the post or a text or phone call would be appreciated by whoever is attending the event or setting up the stand etc.Most folk can contact someone however my number is 07917331358 should anyone need it. I won't personally make every event and show that's organised but by all means drop me a text if plans change last minute and I can pass the information on.
I know this post is getting boring lol but also remember that if you are attending an event you think may be of interest to others in the Club then post it up in Events or Track Events, you might be wrong it may be of no interest to anyone
